Woman Who Was Told She'd Never Walk Again Or Have More Kids Makes Her Way Down Aisle Pregnant

Brittney Bedwell, 26, from Indiana, is beating all the odds.

One mom is defying all odds. An ATV crash four years ago left Brittney Bedwell, 26, from Indiana, paralyzed. She was told she'd never walk again or have another baby. But on Saturday, she defied all expectations when she walked down the aisle at her wedding. And that's not all. Despite being told she couldn't have any more children, Brittney Bedwell is four months pregnant! The devastating accident briefly broke the young mom's spirit. But with amazing support from family and friends and looking towards herself for the courage and determination to persevere, Bedwell made her dreams come true. She was able to walk down the aisle with the help of a walker on her wedding day. It was an emotional day for Bedwell, having her father by her side as she made her way down the aisle and to her husband-to-be, Glen.  "It was really important to me because I got to watch my sisters walk down the aisle with [our dad], and I knew I wanted to do that, so I had to push myself even harder," she told WISH

Her sister Ashley Sieb shared special moments of the big day including a video of her walking down the aisle. Sieb wrote on FacebookShe leaves me speechless. So I'll just say – Brittney Bedwell inspires me to never give up. To believe in miracles. To stay strong. To defy the odds. To love deeply and freely. Happy wedding day, baby sister. You are STUNNING and STRONG! One Facebook user commented: I am sorry not sorry over here ugly crying in Food City parking lot ... Brittney you are absolutely an amazing strong #baddassbossbabe. Congratulations you beautiful bride. Another person wrote: What a rockstar! She looks beautiful and so do you! Her sister responded to all the messages of support and love by saying, "Thank you all for the joyful love and light! She had a lovely day! We are so proud, and so happy for her + Glen!"

The crash that took place years ago left Bedwell spending several months in the hospital.  After several surgeries and a serious infection, Bedwell was given some heartbreaking news. “A doctor told me that I was never going to walk again, and I didn’t want to believe that, and I did for a while and I had depression and anxiety but once I got over that, I just woke up one day and I just like started feeling some stuff in my legs and I knew that it wasn’t over,” said Bedwell.

Since the accident, Bedwell continued to push through and miraculously started to walk during physical therapy. She was coming back stronger. Her now-husband, Glen, even proposed at the hospital. “I have my kids, I have my husband and I have my family and friends and they’re all in my corner so I’m pushing for them because they’re pushing for me,” she said. Just days after her wedding, the determined mom-to-be is ready to get back to physical therapy and get out of her wheelchair for good. “I already have therapy line up for next week, so I’m getting out of this chair,” said Bedwell.
