Traitorous Mom Married Son-In-Law While Her Daughter Was Battling To Stay Alive | "I Can't Call Her Mother Anymore"

Kamylla de Melo heard the news from her father. It left her in deep pain and disappointment.

Dealing with betrayal is tough but it becomes worse when the ones who break your trust are your flesh and blood. One woman from Brazil had the shock of her life when she woke up after battling to stay alive.

According to Mirror Online, Kamylla de Melo was struggling to stay alive in the intensive care unit. During the time, her husband and her mother began a secret affair behind her back. In addition to cheating on her, the duo had also gone ahead and gotten married.

The helpless woman was at the hospital for 78 days without any idea about this ongoing affair. It is only when her father told her that she came to know of it all.

Speaking to the Brazilian news outlet noamazonaseassim, the mother of one stated, "At the end of 2017, I needed to have bariatric surgery. The idea was not to lose weight but to take care of my hormonal rates. After operating, I had a stroke and needed to be hospitalized again."

Describing how her mother connected with her husband, the woman stated, "During this period, my mother - I swear I can't call her a mother anymore - went to my house to help my husband take care of my son who at the time, was 4 years old. My father had stayed in the interior of Pernambuco with my younger brother."

She further stated that she came to know of their affair when her father visited her in the hospital on March 22, 2018.

She stated, "Without much ado, my father, who had already taken my son, said that his wife and my husband were having an affair. It looked like he was being stabbed in the chest, a mixture of disappointment and disbelief." The news was heartbreaking and the mother referred to it as "worst pain" of her life.

The woman was shocked but she wanted to hear it from her mother. To her surprise, her mother admitted to the relationship and claimed they were "very happy" together. The woman also came to know that her husband and mother hardly visited her during her tough days at the hospital.

“Only later did I learn that in the four months I spent in the hospital, much of the time between life and death, my ex had only visited me twice and my mother, none," said the woman in great sorrow.

Besides breaking her heart, her mother is unabashedly flaunting her new relationship. "I recently learned that my mother is keen to celebrate their relationship anniversary on March 2, without even disguising that she started going out with my then-husband while I was in the hospital," said the woman.

Kamylla was also frustrated that her son needs to be around her mother's relationship with his father. Based on the court orders, the little boy has to spend a couple of days with his father. “My son stays with his father two or three times a week, by court order. It is not easy, but I am obliged to allow my little one to live with this toxic and harmful relationship," she said.

Speaking of her narcissistic mother, Kamylla believes she was always in a competition with her. “As a teenager, my mother first started to compete with me. She was only 20 years older than me and said that my clothes were better suited to her, that her food was better. Nothing I did was good enough."

However, at the end of her turmoil, Kamylla found happiness. She found a man who loves her and began a new relationship. "Almost two years after I separated, I found a nice guy and started dating. We have been together for 10 months, in a respectful and ethical relationship. I have a beautiful and close family, my father is loving and my son is perfect," said Kamylla. She believes she is in a better place now.
