Woman Shares How Tinder Date Lied To Her About Wife Being Dead When She Wasn't

When confronted, the man told her that she was the one who was lying despite instagram proving that the wife was alive and still posting pictures

Married men making up stories to cheat on their spouses isn't new. You would think that they wouldn't lie about their spouse being dead in 2021 considering that people can verify facts using the internet in minutes but this man did. TikTok user Sissyhankshaw shared how a Tinder date had lied about his wife being dead without realizing that a simple search on social media would expose him.

The woman explained in a video that she had met a 25-year-old school teacher on Tinder and that everything seemed great in the beginning. He was a runner, he was nice, and she had high hopes for their relationship. The man told her that he had a son and that his wife had unfortunately passed away in a tragic accident. The woman explained that she was curious about his late wife so she casually checked social media to learn a little about her. She was shocked when she saw that the dead wife was still uploading pictures to Instagram. She realized that the woman wasn't dead and was in fact still in a relationship with the man, Mirror reported.

The woman explained in the video, "I went on a Tinder date with this guy who was a teacher. He was 25, he taught school kids and I'm like 'oh that's so sweet'. He had a son, he said that his son's mother had passed away tragically she was dead, he was a single dad - how horrible. The other teachers would watch his kid when he would go on dates I was like, 'oh that's so sweet - how nice of them'. He liked running, he seemed like a normal person. And I, of course, had an Instagram stalk to see how this tragic story unfolded because I love things like that. I went to stalk her on Instagram and I went back to show my friend and looked back on a different day and when I did she had new posts and so I stalked even further. and found her whole family and career history on the internet. Turns out she was not dead at all. She was very much alive, and they were very much together in a relationship. And he was so normal, he was the most normal person I've been on a date with in a long time," reported Mirror.

The woman then shared that she confronted the man but he told her that she was the one who was lying. "I confronted him about it and told him that he lied and that she was actually alive and I was like, 'what the f*** dude?' And he told me that I was lying and that she was actually dead. She's alive," she said. The video went viral and many shared similar stories. "Oh wow, that's like serial killer vibes," one commented, while another shared, "I had a week-long fling with somebody once who told me his wife was dead, now I'm thinking back like - 'was she just out of town'?". A third added, "The normal-seeming ones are always so much more creepy to me." Viewers then asked if the woman had contacted the wife to which she said "I messaged her on Instagram" before adding that the woman never read the post, reported Mirror.
