Woman Gets Slammed For Saying “I’m Too Pretty To Work”

A lot of young people don't seem to be interested in the idea of working in a traditional sense. Ever since the pandemic people seem less keen on the conventional concept of a 9 to 5 job. To be honest, even people who love work occasionally dream of taking a break but hey, we’ve got to make a living. Would you skip working completely? A young TikToker received a ton of flak online after she said she’s just “too pretty” to bother with a job, reports The New York Post. Lucy Welcher divided the internet with her comments in an 8-second clip that went viral. “I do not want to work for the rest of my life,” she said in the short video. “Does it look like I want to get up at 6 a.m. every f**king day for the next 60 years?” “No! I’m too pretty for that!” she said, before taking a sip of her iced coffee.

Many comments came at the content creator calling her “entitled” and “lazy” for her view on working.  One commenter said, “Try waking up at 4 a.m. every day working 60 hours a week.” “How about trying to be an adult instead of a privileged princess expecting life to be handed to you?” another shared. “Someone’s entitled,” a third chimed in. “I hope you get humbled girl, you need it. Looks have to nothing to do with working and it’s sad you have that mentality.” There were a handful of comments in agreement with her philosophy. “Preach it sissy!” one person said before a second supporter added, “Sending this to every employer I’ve ever had.” However a third reminded her why jobs are necessary, “Bestie we need to be able to pay for our coffees and other things tho.”
