Maureen Pritchard's epic prank was executed after months of planning. Not only did she prank her husband but she also fooled others who passed by her house.
Sometimes we can go a little overboard with our shopping. It might not be intentional but we just can't stop ourselves from updating our wardrobe, getting the latest gadgets or decor items. Shopping today is much easier with online sites such as Amazon. Everything we need is just one click away. Its no doubt some of our partners are used to getting a heart attack with the number of boxes delivered for us at our door. One wife who knew this, decided to pull off an epic prank on her husband.
According to Fox8, Maureen Pritchard from Wisconsin wanted to make the most of April Fool's Day. So, she decided to plan way ahead than to come up with something small days before the day. Six months prior to the actual day, she started saving up all the Amazon delivery boxes. She even ran the extra mile and asked her parents and sister for their delivery boxes. With everything ready for her perfect prank, Maureen was all set to make her husband the biggest fool of the year.
Therefore, on 1 April 2019, the woman piled up all the boxes outside her house to make it look as if it was delivered on that particular day. She then waited for her husband to arrive. Looking out through the window with a camera, she recorded her husband, Rob pulling into the driveway. He was obviously astonished by all the boxes and walked into the house. Astonished by pile, he asked, "What IS all that?!?” However, thinking he might have already figured out it was a prank, she explained the boxes were not her's.
Maureen later shared the videos of her husband's reactions on Facebook and wrote, "I’ve been planning an April Fools joke to play on Rob for MONTHS!! I got him good! I wish I would have continued to record right away when he came in the house." She continued, "I had to explain that it was 6 months of saved boxes, from us, my parents and my sister! The second video is his reaction." She told how people slowed down in front of her house just because of the pile.
Facebook users were impressed by the woman's prank and shared the post 3.6K times. Others commented on the post and tagged their families. "Have to ask, where did you keep all the boxes prior to this awesome joke? I HAVE to do this to my husband," wrote one. Another wrote"You are GOOD! Thanks for sharing!!!!! Great April Fool’s prank!!!"
