6 Ways That May Help Enhance Your Sexual Experience And Achieve Climax

There are several ways to improve your physical relationship with your partner. From including certain foods to taking a break from sexual activities, the ways are several.

Most women look forward to having a satisfying sexual experience with their partner. But sometimes, it is hard for women to reach climax despite being with the person they love. Though you may be dissatisfied, it might not be easy to tell your partner that you were not satisfied. Here are a few ways you can achieve a gratifying sexual experience and orgasm.

1. Eating foods that can pump up your blood

There are several foods that can help you pump up the blood and help you achieve climax. Proper blood circulation to the genitals is important for sexual arousal. Olive oil is considered to be a miracle food that can increase testosterone production that gives rise to greater orgasms.

Another great food that needs to be added to your diet is garlic. Containing high levels of allicin, it improves the blood flow to your sexual organs. In addition to it, including other foods like hot peppers and fish can improve sensation making way for stronger orgasms.

2. Give quickie a chance

Not being sexually satisfied may be linked to boring and routine sex. Being spontaneous and adding some twist to your normal sexual routine can help you achieve a satisfying orgasm. "Quickies are fantastic because they are spontaneous and build excitement, two things people in long-term relationships crave," Holly Richmond, Ph.D., a sex therapist in Southern California told Health.com. Getting creative and taking a break from regular routine can evoke excitement and boost the sexual experience.

3. Foreplay

Spending more time kissing, cuddling may help your body produce more oxytocin that will help you achieve a satisfying and exciting sexual experience. "Oxytocin plays several roles involving mood. Since successful reproduction requires peaceful cooperation among family members, touching and hugging increases oxytocin..," said Dr. Felice Gersh, M.D an OB-GYN and founder/director of the Integrative Medical Group of Irvine in Irvine, CA. He added, "whichever way it is stimulated and produced, it increases the feeling of love and bonding." This feeling of love can contribute to better sexual experiences.

 4. Delay the gratification

Though orgasm is often referred to as "climax," it is important to remember that it is not a race. So taking it slow and delaying the process can improve the experience. The process is called edging. Bringing yourself into a state of pre-orgasm stage and intentionally slowing down the climax will amp up the senses leading to a stronger orgasm.

5. Exercise

Including workouts and activities like tennis or marathon can increase blood circulation. "Increased blood flow to a woman's genitals creates more vasocongestion-swelling of the vaginal walls, labia, and clitoris-which increases sensitivity and can result in more intense orgasms," says Van Kirk, Ph.D, marriage, family, and sex therapist and author of The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life. Exercise can also regulate your hormone levels and help you enjoy a great sexual experience.

6.  Take a break

A person who is involved in sexual activities be it with your partner or alone on a daily basis may not be able to achieve climax every time. Therefore, taking a break for a day or two is necessary. Such breaks can have a positive effect on your sexual experience later. “I've noticed in both men and women that they report stronger orgasms during masturbation after taking a short break,” said New York City sex therapist Ian Kerner to WomensHealthMag.
