The Queen May Permanently Leave The Buckingham Palace Following Prince Philip's Death

The reports are not yet confirmed but she may be leaving the palace soon.

The death of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, had the world mourning for the gentle soul he was and the kind of man he had been his entire life. He was a much-loved royal and his funeral showed how an entire nation came together in grief. His departure, however, has hit the Queen the most for obvious reasons that they had been a wonderful couple, always in love, for decades. It has hit the queen the hardest and new reports suggest that she may be moving out of Buckingham palace soon following his death.

As reported by Hello!, she would move to Windsor castle in the near future. She would be moving to this castle as this is where her husband of 73 years has been buried. In a symbolic manner, she would be moving to the castle to stay closer to the man whom she cherished and loved all her life.

Furthermore, this is also the place where they spent almost all of their Easters and had also moved in for isolation during the first lockdown measures. They had spent their last wedding anniversary in this castle as well. This may mean that the Queen may return to Buckingham Palace only for her official duties and would not be a resident there anymore.
