"I flushed one down a toilet, another one went out of the tour bus window," she said
Sharon Osbourne, in an interview on ITV's Loose Women, gave her opinion on whether people should replace their engagement rings or not. What made it even better is that it led to her admitting that she had in fact flushed her own engagement ring from her husband Ozzy down the toilet and it wasn't a one-time thing, reported The Daily Star UK.
The debate started when Stacey Solomon, a regular on the show told the girls that she has already thought about when she may consider buying another ring for "fashion". Stacey recently got engaged to her boyfriend Joe Swash. Her statement led to it being discussed on the show and Sharon made an appearance via video link from her home to give her views on the same. Leading the segment, Jane Moore said, "Some people do buy themselves a couple of engagement rings. Victoria Beckham has 15 engagement rings!".
She then asked Sharon if she ever bought another engagement ring to which she replied, "Well, it's a bit different than Victoria because Ozzy and I would fight and where ever I was at the time I'd throw it away."
"I flushed one down a toilet, another one went out of the tour bus window. They weren't mega, mega, expensive as my real ones got stolen years ago out of our house from England and since then we won't put a lot of money back in a ring, we won't do it," she further said. Stacey then explained what she actually said on the show the day before, "I said as time goes on fashion changes. Joe, I love it so much but I do understand why people do change them. Due to cookies, my phone sees what I search and knows I'm engaged, it keeps showing me new ones."
Jane then asked Sharon if she would trust her husband to pick out the ring for her. "I would guide him but I trust him. It's more special when they pick it," Sharon replied. Ozzy and Sharon then spoke about their upcoming anniversary in the segment, the couple will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary next year. "She’s my life, but we’ve had our ups and downs along the way," Ozzy said talking about Sharon and their relationship. The famous pair is currently working on a biopic about their life together. "I want to find a totally unknown British actor to play Ozzy," Sharon said.
