Sources claim that Prince Harry had a frosty reception when he arrived for the funeral
Barely a few days ago it was reported that Prince Harry was working on mending his relationship with his father and brother. Royal watchers have now claimed that the Duke of Sussex has realized "how frozen out he is" from the rest of the royal family and is "a rabbit in the headlights" as he adjusts to life in the US, reported Mirror.
Prince Harry's attendance at Prince Philip's funeral was his first time he had been back with his family after the Oprah Winfrey interview. Sources claim that he had a frosty reception as the 'explosive allegations' made during the interview 'didn't go down well with other senior members of The Firm'. Harry and Meghan had accused the family of racism as they claimed that concerns had been raised about how dark Archie's skin tone would be. They had further claimed that the royal family had also been insensitive to mental health issues. The Duchess of Sussex said that she had suicidal thoughts while she was pregnant with Archie but failed to get any help. Royal watchers say that following the tense reunion, the event reminded Harry of his old life as he struggles to adjust to his life in the US with his wife Meghan and son Archie, reported Mirror.
Former Royal Editor at The Sun, Charlie Rae spoke to talkRADIO and said, "Out in the US, Harry looks like a startled rabbit caught in the headlights." Host Kevin O'Sullivan said, "We read that Harry was shocked by the frosty reception he got from some members of the Royal Family. Some literally turned their back on him. He was stunned by this - I'm not sure why that was a surprise to him. It must be occurring to him how frozen out he is, how he has turned his back on his former life. There is a suggestion that when he came back a few weeks ago, he was reminded of his old life. He felt rather nostalgic about it and he isn't so thrilled about his new circumstances as he wants you to believe." Rae then shared that he doesn't believe Charles and William "will be extending their open arms again to Harry", reported Mirror.
According to few reports, Prince Harry had apparently organized a "summit" with Prince Charles, William, and Kate at his UK residence Frogmore Cottage, after Prince Philip's funeral. However, others claim that the "clear-air-talks" didn't actually happen as Harry only stayed for a few days and the family's focus was on supporting the Queen as she mourned her husband's death, reported Mirror.
