Some events are strange. The news of a recent birth saw some bizarre coincidences. A baby was born at 7:11, on 7/11, and weighed exactly the same.

Some events in life may make us wonder if it is just a coincidence or if is there something divine and magical about it. Such incidents are not so common and may feel strange. The story of a recent birth is making the news for something quite crazy. Rachel Langford, a Missouri woman did not know her pregnancy would be the stage for a bizarre coincidence.


According to WTHR, Rachel Langford gave birth to her son J’amie Brown on the 11th of July. However, she was not ready for the coincidence that followed. When the baby boy was weighed by the doctors, they found that his weight was also seven pounds and 11 ounces.

Rachel who was surprised by the significant role played by seven and 11 thought it was really weird. “I thought it was weird at first, and I didn’t know that (the numbers) meant so much. A lot of the times (during the pregnancy) I would look at the clock and it was 7:11,” told the mother to CNN.


Though she is a little freaked out by the numbers, both Rachel and her son are doing extremely well. She also told CNN that she plans to tell the convenience store chain about the strange coincidence.

However, this is not the first extraordinary pregnancy that played around with some numbers, A birth reported from Nashville on the 12th of June also shared a similar story. According to News Channel, little Saylor Elaine was born at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center on June 12. The beautiful girl was born at 6:12 in the morning, weighing 6 pounds and 12 ounces.

Her parents too are quite amazed by the way in which her day of birth, the time she was born and her weight all had the exact same numbers. Whatever be the reason, her parents think that their little girl is somebody special. Sources tell that the baby is perfectly well and happy.
