8-YO Emotionally Telling His Baby Sister "I’m So Proud Of You" At Her Pre-K Graduation Is Touching Beyond Words

A proud mother captured her 8-year-old elder son emotionally embracing his sister on her graduation. The adorable picture is a reminder for the unique bond shared by siblings.

Our siblings are an inevitable part of our childhood. We played together, fought with each other and annoyed our parents together. Though we hated them for snatching our favorite toys, beating us at video games or for making us the culprit for every mischief they did, they are still very dear to us. Regardless of being a major annoyance in our childhood, they stood by us and gave us a shoulder to cry when our parents yelled or grounded us. It's no doubt that they were our first friends and ironically our first enemies and bullies too. A photo captured by a mom showed exactly this. It is the most adorable symbol of the bond shared by siblings.

According to Good Morning America, Aundrea Smith, a mom from Connecticut photographed her children at the occasion of her daughter's Pre-K graduation. The picture showed Derek, the elder brother tearfully hugging his younger sister and congratulating her on graduating. The adorable picture that was shared on social media melted the hearts of people.

Little Charlee was graduating from preschool on June 21st in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Her parents, aunt and big brother Derek was among the audience watching the little champ receiving her graduation certificate.

When the ceremony ended, 8-year-old  Derek walked up to his little sister with a bunch of flowers. He gave his sister a warm hug and tearfully told her that he was so proud of her. Seeing her brother's gesture, the little girl could not stop being emotional. She cried and embraced her brother. Aundrea Smith and her husband who watched their kid's love towards each other became emotional too.

The proud mother later posted the photo on Instagram. She wrote," #feelgoodfridayToday my daughter graduated from Pre-K. After the ceremony, my son walked up to her and gave her a hug. “I’m just so proud of you,” he said. Then, of course, my daughter started crying. As we wiped away our tears, my husband asked her, “Pumpkin, why are you crying?” She responded, “I’m just so happy.” We are so blessed.  The post which captured the essence of the sweet moment shared by the siblings won hearts raking up 25.9K likes. People could not help commenting on the adorable brother-sister moment.
