The ability to give back to the society speaks volumes about a person and his personality. It shows their humility as well as their gratitude to the past that enabled their growth. Six-time NBA champion, Michael Jordan is one such person. His generosity and thoughtfulness were seen when he opened up a clinic for the less fortunate in his hometown.

According to the Guardian, basketball legend Michael Jordan opened a clinic for the underprivileged people in his hometown of Charlotte, in North Carolina. "This is a very emotional thing for me to be able to give back to a community that has supported me over the years," said the star in an emotional speech during the inaugural ceremony held on 17 October 2019.

In his speech, the star said that the 7-million-dollar Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic is a way of showing his gratitude to the community that supported him throughout his career. "It's ... from the heart— a passion from what this city, this state has given back to me. I can never repay what you have given to me. But this is a start," said the athlete, who turned into a business mogul.
