"He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm," Meghan Markle while Prince Harry cradled his baby boy.
It's only been two days since Meghan Markle gave birth to her baby boy. But the new parents are still bubbling with excitement after the arrival of their son. Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out at St George's Hall at Windsor Castle with Baby Sussex cradled in his daddy's arms.
As they gave the world the first glimpse of their little one, they opened up about just how special it's been so far. "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy," Meghan Markle said, according to The Telegraph.
The bundle of joy slept soundly in the arms of his father and talked about just how calm the baby is. "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm," Meghan Markle said. "I don't know who he gets that from," Prince Harry added. The new mother couldn't help but repeatedly stroke her baby's head and even added, "He's just been the dream so it's been a special couple of days."
It's still too early to say who the baby resembles. When asked about who the baby looks like, Meghan Markle said, "We're still trying to figure that out."
"Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks we're basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really," said Prince Harry. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows." The father joked and said, "He's already got a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful."
Through everything, Meghan Markle had the strong presence of her mother right by her side, and she mentioned that the days have been "special" since her pregnancy. The two of them had to wait longer than they expected since the birth was overdue. But when their 7lb 3oz bundle of joy finally arrived, they couldn't be more thrilled.
The royal couple has just taken their first step into parenting and they seem to be loving every bit of it. When asked about his new role of being a parent, Prince Harry said, "It's great. Parenting is amazing. It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy."
They're aware that this is just the beginning and there are so many more wonderful memories to be made with their son. Prince Harry said he's looking forward to those “precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up,” according to People. Meghan Markle also took a moment to thank all the people who pushed her through with their kind wishes. "Thank you everybody for all the well wishes and kindness, it just means so much," she said.
With their partner by their side and their baby finally here, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally have what they waited so long for. The baby's name is still yet to be announced and will be meeting the Queen at Windsor Castle, accompanied by his parents. "Another great-grandchild," Prince Harry said.
