The photos sparked debate on social media with some thinking it is a sign from God while others dismissed it as a mere coincidence.
Alfredo Lo Brutto of Agropoli, Italy, caught an image of a 'figure' over the water that has prompted considerable internet debate, with some people comparing it to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Alfredo told Daily Mail, "I was enchanted by the view. I don't often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see it, because it was so beautiful." The shot, taken over the Tyrrhenian Sea, shows some resemblance to the aforementioned statue, and others online are now wondering if it may be a hint of some significance.
Meanwhile, other netizens are ready to refute the issue, claiming that the 'figure' is simply a fortuitous cloud formation benefiting from the light provided by the water. A person commented on Alfredo's Facebook Post, "It had been said ....you will see, find, experience, witness, happenings that will make some believers and non-believers!" Another person said in the comments, "What about the face in the clouds? No one's mentioned him. As for the light thats just the sun breaking through the gap in the clouds. Get real people!"
A third person pointed out that the image was nothing but a coincidence. They wrote, "A hole in the clouds is not an imaginary friend. It is a hole in the clouds." Many others are convinced that this is actually a sign. While one person wrote, "Thank you for sharing this revelation of Jesus love for the world!" another comment read, "Believe in the Power of God."
Some people are of the firm belief that this photo, taken in 2019, is a sign that the end of our planet is near. A person wrote in the comments, "The Lord is coming fast people do not realized the year 2019 is end times faith sickness and the root money evil."
"I believe that it was Jesus telling us no matter what we are going through that He is there to protect us and make us safe if we only believe in Him and have the faith," wrote one Facebook user on the second photo captured by Alfredo, taking a more positive outlook. "My God is alive and no matter how this image came to be I know Jesus is there. Thank you for sharing. You made my day. God Bless," wrote another.
It isn't clear what this formulation of clouds and light mean but the beautiful photograph won everyone's hearts on the internet.
