Cute 100-YO Man & 103-YO Woman Tie The Knot After Meeting & Falling In Love At Their Care Residence

John Cook Sr., 100 and Phyllis Cook, 103 fell in love at their care home and tied the knot at a courthouse wedding.

You might feel old and may have grey hair but that should not stop you from falling in love. It is a magical feeling that is not bound by age. Many of us feel that we have less time to fall in love just because of our age. However, our age should not stop us from following our heart.  An Ohio couple who knew this, tied the knot, hoping to live with each other forever.  They celebrated their rather-late found love with their dear ones.

According to Good Morning America, John Cook Sr., 100 and Phyllis Cook, 103 got married at a local courthouse on June 2019 after a year of dating. "It wasn't the plan, but we got here and they said we could marry you here. I said 'good, let's get it over with," said John to NBC. The couple also organized a reception on 26 August 2019 at the assisted facility to celebrate their nuptials.

The excited newlyweds accompanied by staff, family and friends came together for a small party with champagne and cake. The couple even had their first dance in front of their dear ones.

The couple who met each other at a care home instantly connected. John Cook who is a WWII veteran arrived at the Kingston Residence of Sylvania in January 2017. Phyllis, on the other hand, arrived in February 2018. "To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other. I know you think that maybe a little bit far-fetched for somebody our age, but we fell in love with each other," said Phyllis to NBC.

The couple spent their days together at the care home and felt the spark. "They just fell in love with each other. They are compatible and enjoy one another's company," said Emily Roach, admissions director at Kingston, told Good Morning America. She added that the two spent their time playing bingo and enjoying each other's company in the courtyard. "Phyllis is from the south, originally, and has a cute little accent. They love to play bingo together and love to go outside and sit in the courtyard," said Roach.

Though they are a married couple now, the two are very specific about having their own space. "What we do, we keep both of our apartments. He's upstairs and I'm down," said Phyllis. The couple who have been married previously have children of their own.

Their love is a testimony of true and pure love.
