Keith Urban is also raising money for children with cancer.
This Christmas had been really tough for a lot of people with many stuck at home and unable to share the holiday spirit with their family. Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman who are aware of this unfortunate situation did their part to console those who spent the holiday season alone.
According to People, Urban serenaded fans with a festive acoustic performance on social media while his wife joined him. The couple seated in front of a Christmas light arrangement put on a virtual show for the fans stuck at home. The 53-year-old singer sang "It should be all green and gold, Watching the snow, Coming down, Charlie Brown".
The couple appeared joyous throughout the performance. They chuckled several times throughout the virtual show and even shared a hilarious and flirtatious conversation. When Urban sang "We can be naughty or nice" to Kidman, she responded, "I want naughty — a little bit of nice, [but] a lot of naughty."
Before concluding his performance, the couple shared their holiday greetings and also told their fans the performance was their gift to them. "We just want to take a second and wish everybody a very Merry Christmas [and] happy holidays, wherever you're watching this [from] right now, [this is] from our family to yours. Here's to a bright and buoyant 2021 all over the world. God bless you all. Thank you so much, love you guys," said Urban.
Kidman and Urban ended the video with a kiss and the actress said, "We love you and we send you our love." The performance gave hope to many. It depicted that it was possible to enjoy some holiday cheer even during such trying times.
Many fans shared heartwarming comments. They appreciated the couple's efforts and thanked them for their gesture. "Happy Christmas Keith & Nicole, so glad you're spending it in our beautiful southern highlands 😊🎅," wrote one. Another wrote, "Merry Christmas from Belfast 🎄," wrote another. Apart from the virtual performance, Urban is also raising money for an important cause. The singer took to Instagram and shared that he was raising funds for kids with cancer. Kidman also shared an adorable photo and wrote, "Holiday kisses, from us to you 🦙😘."
