He said that this incident was a "fitting end to their relationship."
In his testimony at the ongoing defamation trial, Johnny Depp claimed that Amber Heard defecated on their marital bed.
After a disagreement with Heard at her birthday party in April 2016, Depp stated that he wanted to get his items from their house while she was at the Coachella festival. Sean Bett, his security guard, warned him against it, reports News Week. Depp stated, "I had received some news. I was shown a picture of what the problem was." He added, "I had gone to Mr. Bett and said, 'She's at Coachella. I think it's a good time to go downtown so that I can get some of my things and get them out of there,' especially things that were precious to me."

Bett replied, "'I don't think now's a good time to go." However, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor thought it was the best time to go as Heard was not going to be home for two days. Depp added, "Then he showed me a photograph on his telephone of... it was a photograph of our bed, and on my side of the bed, was human fecal matter." He added in his testimony, "I understood why it wasn't a good time to go down there." Depp said that he "laughed" after seeing the picture, adding it was "so bizarre and so grotesque" that he did not go down there that day.
Depp, in direct examination, has talked about having "a glass or two" of wine — pretty much on par with the amount Heard drank. He also said Heard sought drugs. https://t.co/fvpbQw36t1

Depp brought up the idea of divorce with Heard shortly afterward. He told her that they would not mention their differences and his claims of violence in the divorce proceedings. Heard reportedly brought up the feces on the bed. Depp testified in court that Heard "tried to blame it on the dogs." Depp was questioned why he didn't believe that it was the dogs, to which he replied, "They're teacup Yorkies. They weigh about 4 pounds each. The photograph that I saw—I lived with those dogs for many years. It was not the dogs... I didn't feel like I deserved that kind of treatment."

The clips of the testimony have gone viral on social media and people are making their own judgments and assumptions about the case. This incident was a "fitting end to their relationship," per Depp. During a previous trial in London's High Court, the actress tore up and denied she was to blame for the incident, reports Marca. Heard said, "That is unimaginable to me" and claimed that their dogs had gotten into a fight with each other. Depp said during the London trial, "I want nothing to do with her," and read a text message he sent to Heard, "All my love and regrets ... I wish you nothing but good."
Depp's $50 million defamation case against Heard is going on in Virginia and with every passing day, new details of their volatile relationship are resurfacing. As we reported earlier, Depp previously claimed in his testimony that he has been a victim of physical abuse at the hands of Heard. Several violent text messages of Depp calling Heard a "filthy whore" were also read out loud in court.
