Take A Look At The First Photos Of All The Royal Babies | Would You Say Archie's Are Different?

Prince Harry and Meghan always had their way of doing things and they did not alter our expectations even at the first appearance of their baby boy, Archie. Here is how Archie's appearance was different from other royal babies.

For long, the world had awaited the arrival of the royal baby and finally, it happened. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were blessed with their sweet bundle of joy whom they named  Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Not only was the royal couple elated to receive the baby but so was the whole world. According to People, the couple walked with pride as the new parents in town on May 8th, two days after the birth of the newborn at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle.

The couple unable to hide their smiles were beaming with joy. "It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy," said Meghan Markle. She also told the media that her baby "has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm." Prince Harry, excited to take upon his role as the daddy said, "I don’t know where he gets that from!"

Introduced to the world in the arms of his father, wrapped in a white blanket, at the same place where his parents had their reception, Archie was different from other royal babies. While other royal babies were made their first appearances at the hospital steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital, Meghan and Harry decided to do it their way. Unlike, Princess Diana and Kate Middleton, Harry and Meghan broke the tradition, first by choosing to have a home birth and then by presenting the baby at the St. George's Hall in arms of Harry rather than Meghan's. Royal babies usually made their first appearances in the arms of their mothers but Harry chose to follow his father's footsteps.

In 1982 when Baby William was born, Prince Charles walked out of the Lindo Wing with Princess Diana and the baby in his hand. However, when Harry himself was born, it was Princess Diana who carried him down those famed hospital steps.

Heres how Archie's cousins were introduced:

Prince George, 2013

Princess Charlotte, 2015

Prince Louis, 2018

Kate Middleton and Princess Diana both followed traditions and stood at the steps of the Lindo Wing in hospital wear with their babies in their hands and their husbands beside them.

Prince William, 1982

Prince Harry, 1984

Like the other royal babies, baby Sussex also made his first appearance wrapped in a white blanket. While the other royal babies are only a few years apart even with Prince Harry and William. Meghan and Harry are not likely to follow this. They could be the couple who would have only a single child or kids with greater age differences than others.
