Groom Promises To Show Stepdaughter "How A Man Should Treat A Woman" During The Wedding Vows, Moving Bride To Tears

Brian Scott not only promised to protect and love his wife but also his stepdaughter. His heartfelt words touched everybody's heart.

A man who loves his woman dearly loves every part of her. He opens his arms to accept everything and everyone important to her without any doubts. And one man from North Carolina did the most spectacular and heart touching during his wedding. It showed his unconditional love for the woman he was getting married to.

According to the Huffington Post, NASCAR driver Brian Scott met the love of his life, Whitney Kay through mutual friends in 2011. Whitney already had a daughter from a previous relationship. However, she felt she found her man and the couple hit it off. Soon, the couple in love decided to tie the knot.

In January 2014, Whitney walked down the aisle on a snowy day in McCall, Idaho to exchange her vows. As he stood by the altar with joy, Scott looked at her and made heartwarming promises. While he choked and held his tears, Whitney smiled, overcome with emotion.

However, before the ceremony could end, it took a different turn. The groom bent down to make a heartfelt promise to Whitney's baby girl, Brielle. The 3-year-old looked at the man while he said, "I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life. I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat. I promise to read you stories at night and to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother. And above all else, I vow to protect you, care for you and love you forever." His words brought tears to the eyes of the bride and guests who watched him.

The video captured by wedding videographer PenWeddings became viral and nobody who watched them could hold their tears for long. "I was already tearing up, but when he said that he'd show her how a woman should be treated, I lost it. What an amazing man. This woman and this little girl have found a great guy, and I hope they have a wonderful life together," one comment on Youtube read. Others called it the most beautiful thing they had ever watched.

Talking to Huffington Post about their wedding, Brian said, "I always felt like my vows to my wife Whitney would maybe affect me more and I would get more choked up during those, making those promises to her. But I misread that one. It was really when I was reading my vows to Brielle that I got the most choked up. It really all just hits home in that moment -- you're there and dressed up and all the people around. You're living in the moment. It affects you more than when you write it or plan for it or practice it. You get engulfed by it."

The couple also welcomed a baby boy in November 2014. Scott shared that he thoroughly enjoys being a father to both of his kids. "Just being there for [the kids] and enjoying family moments together and playing with them and hearing them laugh and seeing them smile -- all of those things are so much better than any of the negative aspects people like to bring up about having kids. It’s not baggage -- it’s great addition [to my life]." Today, the Scotts are a happy family bound by just unconditional love.
