Groom Leaves Bride And Step-Daughter In Tears As He Turns Away From The Woman He's About To Marry At The Altar

"Having a man love your child as much as he loves you is an indescribable feeling," she said.

One of the best feelings anyone can have is waking up every morning to a partner who cherishes and accepts you for who you are. While marriage has everything to do with love and trust but the one thing that makes a relationship unbreakable is whole-hearted acceptance. With acceptance comes security and contentment which does not allow banal arguments to create a rift in the relationship.

An extraordinary example of whole-hearted acceptance was witnessed at a wedding when the groom showed that when you accept someone as an important part of your life, you should accept them wholly.

Jimmy Gisondi and Kelsea Jewart Gisondi took each other as husband and wife on November 2, 2019. At the altar, Jimmy did something that reflected the true essence of love and marriage. After exchanging vows with his bride, Jimmy turned towards 9-year-old Olivia, to read the promises he was making to her as her step-father, leaving her in tears.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Kelsea told how much it meant to her and her little girl. "It was a very emotional moment for our families it’s something everyone knew Olivia needed and wanted so badly. And that was her time," she said. "Olivia isn’t a very emotional person so seeing her like that just confirmed we all knew how much this just really meant to her."

Here is what Jimmy's vows read that made all the guests tear up:

"Olivia, from this day forward, I promise to remind you every day how truly loved you are," Jimmy says in the video. "I promise to teach, guide, respect you for the rest of our days," he said. "I'm very happy to say that you’re my daughter. From this day forward, you will truly be my daughter and the other love of my life. I love you, Olivia."

Kelsea was a single mom for two years before she met the love of her life. And to have her daughter accepted with love and respect was nothing short of a dream for her.

"The part that sticks out to me is when he said, 'the other love of my life,'" she added. "Having a man love your child as much as he loves you is an indescribable feeling."
