Enough with these parties already!
The gender reveal parties are well and truly getting out of hand as people are trying newer methods of telling their loved ones the gender of their to-be-born kids. One such incident happened at a quarry near the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border where the family members were invited for a gender reveal party. As reported by LadBible, police arrived at the quarry where the family has set off Tannerite explosive with blue chalk to celebrate the fact that they were to have a baby boy.
The explosive is available over the counter so it was not a problem for the family to procure them but the quantity of explosive that they had, over 80lb, caused massive tremors. The person who bought the explosive and set it off surrendered to the police and has been reported to have been cooperating with the authorities.
According to the reports, they had acquired permission from the quarry owners and believed it to be the safest spot to carry out the plan. What they did not expect was that the explosion would cause massive tremors across the border and that people of two states would be on alert fearing an earthquake. Numerous residents in a 20-mile radius rushed out of their homes and some even reported cracks appearing at their foundations following the blast.
Future parents would perhaps be wary of doing such things and maybe the good old phone call would be sufficient to reveal the baby's gender to family embers. It would be the safest option, to say the least.
