Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Cuts His Honeymoon Short To Be There For Kevin Hart As He Recovers From Horrifying Accident

Dwayne Johnson returned back from his honeymoon to appear on a show that was scheduled for Kevin Hart.

Hollywood big man, Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock" just showed us what a good friend should be like. The actor who just got married to the love of his life Lauren Hashian in an intimate Hawaiian wedding has decided to step up for his dear friend Kevin Hart.


According to Entertainment Online, Johnson who recently tied the knot is returning from his honeymoon sooner than planned to fill in for his friend Kevin Hart. "When my son @KevinHart4real goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I did leave my honeymoon early (Lauren approved cos she LOVES Kelly) and now me and Kelly are new best friends. Tune in this Monday! We had the best time!" wrote the actor on Twitter.


When Dwayne heard Kevin Hart will not be able to attend his scheduled appearance on the premiere episode of Kelly Clarkson's new talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, he decided to appear on the show for his friend. Dwayne who was enjoying his honeymoon in Kauai flew down to Los Angeles for the show.  


Kevin who met with an accident on Sunday, September 1 was severely injured and rushed to the hospital immediately.  According to TMZ, the 40-year-old underwent surgery and is recovering.


The news shocked people around the world and Dwayne took to social media showing his support through an emotional message. "Stop messing with my emotions brother. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong," wrote the 47-year-old on Instagram.

He even posted a photo of the two on a camel from the sets of their upcoming movie Jumanji: The Next Level.


Dwayne and Kevin who have starred in many movies together like Jumanji and Central Intelligence have shared a unique brotherly bond. In 2017, Dwayne told The Hollywood Reporter that he shared a unique bond with the comedian and actor. "Since working with him I can honestly tell you that I've never had this type of brotherly chemistry with anyone that I've worked with and it's a cool thing. It's like having a brother. We talk shit to each other. We give each other shit. We compete with each other but we have fun."



Kevin expressed his thoughts on the friendship they share. "We both have an understanding for the separation of business and family. You need that and I think here it’s what you have so I think this is what you guys are getting to see what you see," told the actor and comedian.

The two have also appeared on talk shows together exhibiting their fun friendship taking jabs on each other from time to time.
