Dad With No Arms and Legs Raised Two Daughters on His Own | Their Mom Walked Out When One of Them Was 4-MO

His daughter said, "My dad is my world. He is my friend... he is the best dad in the world."

Doa Ignacia, from Paraguay, turned 90 last year in 2021. She had a son named Pablo Acuña in her younger years and soon realized that he had stunted development.

He told Vitamin, "I quickly realized that my son, at an early age, wasn’t growing much." She and her husband eventually brought him to the hospital to find out what was wrong with him and whether anything could be done to assist him. Ignacia said, "He was in the hospital for two or three months, then he [the father] brought him back just like when they left."

Unfortunately, Pablo had been born with a condition that prevented his limbs from growing, ultimately leaving him without arms and legs. Naturally, his mother stayed by his side and fed him like any other child. Pablo needed a wheelchair as he grew, but his mother reassured him every day that he was wonderful and just as deserving of life as anybody else, reports Amomama.

Ignacia raised her son with courage and compassion which led him to take care of his two daughters on his own when their mother walked out of their life. He was abandoned by the woman he believed was the love of his life, leaving him with their two little girls, one of whom was only four months old. However, he did not give up on his daughters and despite the evident hardships and problems in his life, Pablo was able to raise the two children with love and care. They're now in their twenties, and one of them, Elida, speaks fondly of her father.

She said, "My dad is my world. He is my friend... he is the best dad in the world."

Elida noted that despite never having attended school, he is intelligent and insightful. She mentioned that he is usually cheerful and that she admires him a lot. Due to her love for her father and her grandmother's gradually deteriorating capacity, she returned from her life in Argentina to care for him. She said, "That’s why I left my life in Argentina and came to stay. To be able to take care of him because, my grandmother can no longer do it because she is already old."

This character strength is entirely due to her father, who has not only persevered but has done so with boundless optimism.
