The company posted a note stating that time spent eating food, chatting or using the restroom was 'theft of time.'
What’s common between a poor managerial staff and a toxic workplace? Well, they all belong together, gotcha. Twitter user @JoshuaPHilll posted a pamphlet that looked like a note of instruction pasted on notice boards. The piece of paper contains some serious orders to be followed by this pamphlet generator‘s employees in their workplace. What is more agitating is the manner in which it outright calls its employees “thief” for 'stealing' profitable hours of the company when they eat, chat or spend some time in the restroom.

Many users on Twitter didn’t take time to call out such petty behavior of the employee who believed it was a good idea to paste these notifications across the workplace to indirectly instill a pint of guilt in its employees for having a life. This post from an undisclosed workplace is proving to be an example of a workplace full of red flags which they aren’t even shy of waving at the faces of its pitied workers says the internet. “Don’t Be a thief !!!!!-“ reads the paper’s header, and of course, the uneven fonts and case are already a turn-off for any reader of the writers of this notification.
I’m wondering if the resurgence of the labor movement has caused them to freak out, or whether it’s the general economic downturn, or whether they’ve always been this bad and the internet just helps us see the worst examples lol— Read Jackson Rising by @CooperationJXN (@JoshuaPHilll) December 19, 2022
Whosoever wrote it insists that attempting to work too early before starting or sooner than they are meant to leave is “stealing.” It reads, “Using a cell phone on the clock, procrastination, being unmotivated, or “general inefficient work,” is equal to stealing and shall not be tolerated by the bosses. Who wants highly charged and efficient workers who work like machines with no rest or breaks even for nature’s call? The user @JoshuaPHill writes, “I’m wondering if the resurgence of the labor movement has caused them to freak out, or whether it’s the general economic downturn, or whether they’ve always been this bad and the internet just helps us see the worst examples lol,” as he proceeded to comment on the thread of his own post.

It is to be noted with great consciousness that any said organization no matter however reputed they claim to be, asks its employees to get going without any working perks, on the contrary, are looked down upon by the administrative team with tactics like such to keep them on track are all signs of a crumbing organization. Work and labor affairs shall always be kept in mind before suggesting any measures to inspire employees as well as to initiate collective growth.
