Husband's "Passive Aggressive" Note To Neighbor Sleeping With Wife Leaves People In Stitches

Surely, you may have come across several accounts about people cheating on their partners who then retaliate in equal measures. But this story is different.

Marriage is a big step. Two people come together and vow their love and loyalty to one another for life. That's why, when either of them breaks these marital promises it's bound to hurt. It doesn't take long for things to get messy from thereon. Surely, you may have come across several accounts about people cheating on their partners who then retaliate in equal measures. But what one husband did after finding out about his cheating wife will leave you very surprised.

The unsuspecting husband apparently walked in on his wife sleeping with another guy. While most would have flown into a rage and demanded the guy to leave the house at that moment, our man here left a "very British" note that has been hilariously described as "passive-aggressive" according to Birmingham Live. Sharing a picture of the now-viral note on Reddit, user Harrtard wrote, "Came home to my partner in bed with someone else! Pretty sure I struck the right tone?"

This is what the note said, "Hey, just wanted to let you know that you’re sleeping with someone who’s married and we’re not in an open relationship so you shouldn't really be doing the dirty with her. I appreciate things can get lonely so I don’t mind you popping over for a brew temporarily whilst I’m out but in the future could you give me a heads up so I can move my car for you please." He signed off in great style writing, "Cheers, No. 86." Although the man's identity is not mentioned, it seems like he is their neighbor as the husband sarcastically offers him to pop in for a beer but urges that he keeps it to that.

Redditors couldn't get over the fact that the husband was so calm about his wife cheating on him. "I'm angry. I'm very angry, Ralph. You know, you can ball my wife if she wants you to. You can lounge around here on her sofa, in her ex-husband's dead-tech, post-modernistic bullshit house if you want to. But you do not get to watch my fucking television set!" joked one. Another wrote, "For f*** sake. Left my car parked in his parking bay yesterday evening whilst having a few pints at Spoons, leaves me a note. Went to bone his wife this morning while he was out, leaves me another note. Anyone knows how can I get a restraint order issued? Think this guy is obsessed with me."

There were some who pointed out how British the tone of the note was. "I think they got the message across in a perfect rendition of British passive aggression and that person will stop. Sounds like 'I'm disappointed in you' which is far worse than 'I am angry with you.' I obviously know nothing about the situation but I can't imagine it will be happening again with the cheater as a married person," shared user DIDLDIDIDI. Another agreed as they noted, "Yeah, this is probably the bit that makes a British person know they screwed up, not the fact they were called out for the affair. This is oozing with passive-aggressiveness, and just daring the other person to try doing it again."
