Being a parent requires an almost overwhelming commitment, and children's needs should come first. Most parents find that becoming parents is stressful and challenging, especially as they try to cope with all of the ongoing changes that parenting entails. Caroline Olling Andersen, a new mother, however, came up with a fantastic solution to handle them, and that is, by composing poems. Due to her job's generous maternity leave policy and the fact that he worked 10- to 12-hour shifts as a teacher, she consented to work the "night shift" while caring for their infant. She raved to Bored Panda about what a fantastic father he is as well: “My husband is a fantastic dad,” said Caroline. “He is an amazing primary school teacher, and he has always brought a lot of fun and humor to our relationship, which he now also brings to daddyhood.”

Caroline Olling Andersen—who just started a Mommy Poet Facebook page — lives in Dubai with her 2-month-old baby and her husband, and at roughly 4 a.m. one night, she penned a whopping seven-stanza poem titled "Daddy's Asleep." Although it was written to her daughter, it was clearly meant to be read by her partner — you know, the guy who "farts, rolls over, and continues to snore" as your poor mother "mops vomit off the floor." As per POPSUGAR.  It's easy for anyone to get frustrated, so she decided to share her frustrations on Facebook, in the form of a poem. And people loved it.
