Janith Goedde created waves with her vintage 1957 wedding gown when she adorned the same to mark the 60th anniversary of her marriage to husband Joe Goedde in 2017. The great-grandmother gave her family a very special memory as she appeared before them in the same white wedding gown she'd worn the day she said "I do."

The couple's anniversary celebration was attended by 62 members of their family. Janith reportedly tried on the $69.95 Chantilly white lace dress at the end of the day to see whether it would still fit her. Although she said it was a bit tighter than how it was all those years ago, she gracefully pulled it off. "I've lost 40 pounds. And it shows," the 80-year-old proudly told ABC News at the time.

"Everybody comments to me on it. When we came home that evening, one of the girls said, 'I bet she can still get in her wedding gown. Where's it at?' I told them where it was in the attic and they went up there and got it. So, I had to put it on. It was a little tight. I didn't lose that much. It's still in good shape. It's still white and I had it in a plastic bag. I didn't preserve it at all," Janith added.
