In this year's second homicide case in Tulsa city of Oklahoma, a 12-year-old girl was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing her 9-year-old brother to death. The incident took place just before midnight on January 5, when the adolescent girl woke up one of her parents to inform them about the scuffle with her younger brother. According to Fox 23, the unthinkable crime involving two kids took place in the residence of the family in Tulsa's River Bank Plaza Apartments. The parents were asleep upstairs at the time of the incident.
According to a press release from the Tulsa Police Department, the 9-year-old male victim was rushed to the hospital for surgery but couldn’t be saved as he succumbed to his injuries after 2:30 a.m. The deceased young boy’s elder sister is being held at the Family Center for Juvenile Justice and the Tulsa Police Child Crisis Unit has taken charge of the investigation. The young children have not been identified by authorities for the public keeping in mind their age, reports PEOPLE. The possible motive for the killing is yet to be finalized as it's still too early to tell, said the authorities.
